Vera Black is a London based fashion and accessories label run by husband and wife team Vera Black & Luke Bourne. Vera Black as a fashion label takes its inspiration from Vera & Luke’s extensive and long careers in the music industry. Everything they produce has its origins in the experiences they have had collectively whilst touring the world and from their personal connections with the 60’s & 70’s era of music and culture. Vera hails from New Zealand originally and uses reflections of her Maori heritage to inspire her more tribal elements of design work.
Vera Black has it’s roots on the streets of London, trading at the iconic Portobello, Camden & Bricklane Markets. And true to their musical roots, each year see’s the label taking their slice of rock n roll heaven to a set of different music festivals around the U.K.
In the short 4 years since hitting the streets of London Vera Black’s designs are sold to customers from around the globe and have attracted the attention of myriad of rock stars and celebrities including Robert Plant, Adam Ant, Matt Bellamy, Elle Evans, Dougie Poynter, Isabel Lucas, Danny Trejo, Lady Antebellum, The Shires, Honeyrider & The Crystal Fighters.
This is VERA BLACK.
